New Delhi: On November 14, 2020, a seven-year-old girl was murdered by a couple at the behest of a badge from Ghatampur in Kanpur. The couple then consumed the child’s liver and other vital organs.

The police conducted a probe and managed to arrest a total of four people including the couple. The court has sentenced four people, including the couple, who are the main accused in the 2020 hellish incident, to life imprisonment. At the end of the three-year trial, Kanpur’s Additional District Judge (POCSO Act) Bakur Shamim Rizvi punished the accused couple Parshuram and Sunayana. Their nephew Ankul and his associate Viren have also been sentenced to life imprisonment.
