New Delhi: India is the fastest growing major economy in the world. The United Nations has sealed the demand of the Modi government. In its 2024 World Economic Situation and Prospects, the United Nations said India is set to be the fastest growing among major economies in FY2024.
According to the United Nations (UN) report, India’s overall GDP growth rate is going to be 6.2 percent in 2024. However, this rate is slightly lower than in 2023. India’s economy grew at 6.3 per cent in 2023. According to informed sources, this success is believed to be due to good performance in the field from construction to mining or service. At the same time, various issues like increasing consumer demand or demand in the service sector have also played a significant role.
