Guwahati: Hit-and-run incidents have taken place again in the state. A policeman was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle at Daulasal in Mukalmua.
The deceased has been identified as Uttam Chandra Bora (45). The policeman was serving as a havildar in the 14th Assam Police battalion at Daulasal. In front of the 14th Assam Police battalion headquarters at Daulasal, the policeman was dumped by unidentified vehicles. The policeman was later admitted to the Mukalmua sub-divisional civil hospital ,but doctors declared him dead.
