New Delhi: Problems related to teeth are sometimes cured by home treatment, but sometimes one has to go to the doctor. But a boy did not know that going to the doctor for a toothache would cost his life, in neighboring China, a boy died due to toothache. This incident is a cautionary for everyone. The incident took place in China’s Hunan province, where a 23-year-old boy named Wang in Shenzhen had a toothache and went to the clinic to see a doctor.
Wang, who went to the Kuiyong People’s Hospital for treatment, was told by the dentist that two of his teeth would have to be removed. As soon as Wang stood up after pulling out his teeth, he fell unconscious. He was immediately sent for emergency treatment and it was found that Wang’s brain started bleeding after removing his teeth. Wang was in a coma for 14 days and eventually died.
Not only this, when the family came to know about the incident, they filed a case against the hospital and accused the medical staff of negligence and advised everyone to be careful before treating toothache. The families are demanding a compensation of Rs 2,08,32,887 from the hospital, but the hospital wants to settle the case at Rs 69,71,962. As evidence, Wang’s body has been preserved for five months as evidence will be lost with his funeral.
