Haryana farmers call for ‘Dilli Chalo’

New Dehi: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP is uneasy about the farmers’ agitation. Farmers’ organisations in Haryana have given a call for ‘Dilli Chalo’ on February 13. What are the demands of the farmers marching? More than 200 organisations, including the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, have called for the strike to press for a slew of demands, including ensuring minimum support price (MSP) for crops. That is why the state government has gone on the path of imposing restrictions in districts like Ambala, Jind, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Kurukshetra. All restrictions will remain in place till February 13. However, no ban has been imposed on voice calls so far. The borders of Punjab and Haryana have been cordoned off. A three-tier barricade has been erected to prevent the farmers’ march.
