New Delhi: The year turns. But Kota does not reduce the disappointment of students. At the beginning of 2024, a student committed suicide again. It is known that he took the joint examination. However, the student committed suicide in his hostel room. This is the fourth time this year that a student from Kota has committed suicide.
The deceased has been identified as Shubho Chaudhary. A native of Jharkhand, Shubh had been studying in Kota for the past two years. The hope was to get admission in IIT college. For this, he studied in the hostel for two years. He also took the Joint Entrance Test for admission to the college. The results of the Joint Entrance Examination were declared on Monday.
But after seeing the result, the student was heartbroken. He did not do as well as he had hoped for in the JEE exam. Go back to the hostel. His body was later found hanging from the ceiling. Police are currently looking for a suicide note from Shuvo’s room. When Shuvo’s family reaches Kota, his autopsy will be conducted.
