New Delhi: Tear gas shells were fired from drones to stop the farmers’ protest march at the Shambhu border in Punjab and Haryana. Smoke engulfed the entire area temporarily after the shells landed during the procession. The visibility has almost reached zero.
On Tuesday morning, a huge march of farmers started marching towards Delhi. After this, the police started firing tear gas in Shambhu area on the Punjab-Haryana border. Tear gas was also fired from a drone.
As the afternoon wore on, the police took action to stop the farmers’ march. According to reports, at least two dozen shells were fired. And this was done without any provocation from the farmers. This is the claim of the all-India media.
