On Wednesday, the ED summoned him for the sixth time in connection with the Delhi liquor scam. He has been asked to appear on February 19. Last week, the Rouse Avenue court issued summons to the Delhi Chief Minister to avoid repeated appearances. He was asked to appear in person on Saturday, but he joined the video conference citing the trust vote. The court fixed March 16 as the next date of hearing in the case.

Kejriwal had not responded to the ED summons five times in the past. Speculation of his arrest is increasing. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday proposed a trust vote in the Delhi Assembly. This proposal will be discussed today. Kejriwal said two AAP MLAs had earlier complained to him that the BJP was offering money to party representatives. It also said that Kejriwal will be arrested soon. “They have been told that 21 AAP MLAs have already agreed to quit the party. The rest are also in touch with the BJP. They offered Rs 25 crore to MLAs to join the BJP. Later, we found that the BJP had contacted seven MLAs and not 21. They want to run Operation Lotus again. ”
“Their aim is to topple the government. Because they know that if elections are held in Delhi, they will not be able to win. In such a situation, the political circle is looking at the trust vote presented by Kejriwal.
