Moscow:American dancer arrested in Russia Ksenia Karelina, 33, is accused by Putin’s administration of donating $51 to the Ukrainian army. Karelina, who holds joint U.S. and Russian citizenship, has been charged with treason. According to Business Insider, Karenina was recently produced in court blindfolded and iron chained.
The statement of the Federal Security Service of Russia, “Since February 2022, a Ukrainian organization has been raising funds in the interests of the organization. The money was used to buy medicines, equipment, weapons and ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russia’s spy agency also said the suspect attended public rallies in support of Kyiv while in the United States. Karelina has been charged with treason.
