Five people have been arrested on drug trafficking charges. All of them are Pakistani nationals, according to Indian Navy sources. Over 3,089 kg of charas, 158 kg of methamphetamine and 25 kg of morphine were seized from the vessel on Tuesday, Army sources said. While government officials could not ascertain the total value of the seized drugs, news agency PTI reported that one kg of char was seized in the international market.
