New Delhi: A total of 62 crore people voted in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Among them, 300 million are women. At that time, the number of registered voters was 89 crore.
Of these, about 46 crore are men and about 43 crore are women.Women have had the right to vote since the first Lok Sabha election (Lok Sabha 2024) in this country. But due to lack of awareness, the active participation of women voters was comparatively low in the beginning. Now the division is over. Women voters are also on the move. Women are almost equal to men this year in terms of active participation.
