Yoga in exchange for money! Supreme Court tells Ramdev to pay tax

New Delhi: Yoga education in exchange for money. But they refuse to pay service tax! The Supreme Court has rejected Ramdev’s unreasonable claim. The Supreme Court has directed Patanjali Yogpeeth, a company owned by yoga gurus, to pay appropriate tax. Ramdev and his associate Acharya Balakrishnan’s organisation have been accused of organising yoga camps at various places.

Money is also charged for training in that yoga camp. However, the government does not get any service tax. The company claimed that yoga education does not fall under service tax. Excise and Service Tax on October 8, 2023
