Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma attended 57 events in different parts of the country in 20 days,Says MP Pabitra Margherita in Press Meet
Guwahati: The Chief Minister of the Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has attended 57 events across India including public meetings, road shows, nomination papers, public relations and special political press conferences in the current Lok Sabha elections .The Chief Minister has attended these functions in just 20 days. These figures were released by Rajya Sabha MP and BJP leader Pabitra Margherita at a press conference today .
CM Sarma also gave exclusive interviews to 19 national media outlets during this period.MP Pabitra Margherita said “The people are now waiting for the 4th June and the BJP is waiting with a positive mindset,”. He also said that Narendra Modi will be the Prime Minister of the country for the third time as expected. It is noteworthy that The BJP revealed its lineup of 40 star campaigners featuring prominent leaders to hit the campaign trail for the Lok Sobha 2024 elections. Among the notable names included in the list are Union ministers Smriti Irani, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, and Jyotiraditya Scindia. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, and Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma were also among the star campaigners, along with several other chief ministers and former chief ministers from various states were also star campaigners. During the poll campaign Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma had participated in 47 public meetings, 7 road shows, 1 nomination filling, 1 Vishesh Samparka Abhijan and 1 press conference.
