Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in Delhi on Wednesday reached 52.3 degrees Celsius, the highest ever recorded in the country. However, the weather bureau had expressed doubt about that temperature yesterday. Union Meteorological Minister Kiren Rijiju also said that whether it was a mistake in the calculation or unprecedented mercury due to local reasons, the whole matter will be looked into.
The maximum temperature in different parts of Delhi hovered between 45.2 degrees and 49.1 degrees on Wednesday. While Mungeshpur mercury rises to 52.3 degrees. Which is the all-time highest temperature record in the country. In this incident, the residents of the capital spread panic in the entire country. Soon after this, the Meteorological Department expressed doubts about the record temperature. He also said that an investigation will be conducted in this matter. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju claims that the record temperature that is being discussed is not ‘official’. He said, “52.3 degree temperature in Delhi is not normal at all. Senior IMD officials have been asked to verify the matter. An official announcement in this regard will be made soon.”
