Milan:Prime Minister Narendra Modi has attended the G-7 summit in Italy. The international summit is also attended by world leaders. Modi appeared in a happy mood with everyone there. He is seen holding hands with US President Joe Biden and shaking hands with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Not only that, Namo has held important meetings with various heads of state during the conference.This is Modi’s first foreign visit since taking over as Prime Minister for the third time.
Namo attended the 50th G7 summit as a special guest at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni. Modi met Biden on Friday in the middle of the summit. He saw his friend after a long time. Then the two of them sat down. “It’s always a pleasure to meet with US President Joe Biden. We will work together to further strengthen bilateral relations and improve the world in the coming days,” he said.On the other hand, one day Modi was seen talking to Trudeau. They exchange courtesies holding hands. It is worth mentioning that the Canadian Prime Minister congratulated Modi on his victory in the 2014 elections. But he gave India a slight ‘stab’ in his greeting. They raised the issue of human rights. Modi replied with thanks. He thought that it was important to maintain mutual respect when working together. The two leaders expressed their willingness to work together to improve relations between the two countries in the coming days. India-Canada bilateral relations have been strong since the assassination of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Therefore, the meeting between Modi and Trudeau in Italy is considered significant by diplomatic circles.
Modi also met French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishidar on the first day of the summit.
