The 18th Parliament session was held on the first day of the session. The opposition coalition protested outside parliament holding a copy of the constitution. Other opposition MPs also attended the protest. “We are fighting to protect the Constitution. The new government has already become biased on several issues. And we have been active to prevent that, protesting from day one,” they said.

The government is already under pressure from the opposition after the BJP failed to win a majority in the recent Lok Sabha elections. The opposition today raised issues like scams in many all-India examinations. .All members of the India Alliance gathered outside the new Parliament House on Monday to criticize the government’s various actions. Opposition MPs marched from under Gandhi’s statue to the new Parliament House with copies of the Constitution in their hands.
