New Delhi: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Weisi is in trouble for shouting in favor of Palestine in parliament. A petition has been filed with the President demanding the dismissal of Weishi as an MP. A lawyer, Harishankar Jain, has filed a complaint against Waisi with President Draupadi Murmu under Articles 102 and 103 of the Constitution.


YC, who was elected MP from Hyderabad for the fifth time, was sworn in in Parliament on Tuesday when BJP MPs shouted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ After the slogan, Waisi took an oath in Urdu and started chanting ‘Jai Bhim, Jai Meem, Jai Telangana, Jai Palestine’ As a result, the controversy reached its climax. A lawyer petitioned the president directly to disqualify Weishi as an MP on Wednesday after the slogan debate on Tuesday. The petition claimed that the accused MP had taken an oath in the country’s parliament and expressed his loyalty to a foreign state. In this case, Asaduddin Waisi should be disqualified as a member of parliament in accordance with Articles 102 and 103 of the Constitution.
