New Delhi: An influential Baba. The death toll from being trampled during a religious ceremony in Hathras in Uttar Pradesh has risen to 121. More than 100 women and seven children were among the dead. A complaint has already been lodged in connection with the incident. But it turns out that self-proclaimed religious guru Suraj Pal alias Bhole Baba alias Narayan Sakar Hari is not named in the complaint! Instead, the complaint names Baba’s ‘chief sardar’, a close associate. It is learned that the organizers had concealed the actual attendance at the event when seeking permission for the religious gathering.

Although the local administration approved a gathering of 80,000 people, more than 250,000 people were reportedly present yesterday. It is also alleged that the organizers did not cooperate with traffic management and tried to hide evidence of the incident.
