New Delhi: The government reconstituted the NITI Aayog on the night of July Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been appointed as a member of the NITI Aayog, replacing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Cabinet Secretariat said in a notification.
Home Minister Amit Shah, Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman are also on the list of members. Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari are special invitees. The list also includes Janata Dal United’s Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh, Hindustan Aam Morcha’s Jitan Ram Majhi, People’s Shakti’s Chirag Paswan, Janata Dal Secular’s HD Kumaraswamy and TDP’s KR Naidu.
