Thousands of Bangladeshis flock to the South Berubari border to enter India for fear of their lives

 New Delhi:Bangladesh has been in turmoil since the military coup. Bangladesh’s recently ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has fled her country and taken refuge in India. Hindus living in Bangladesh are now in danger of their lives. . Some of the panicked local residents are therefore trying to enter India from troubled Bangladesh for fear of their lives.

Thousands of Bangladeshi citizens are now flocking to the Indo-Bangladesh border. . Security has been tightened at the zero point near Manikganj in South Berubari of Jalpaiguri near Dhardhara village in Bengal to prevent them from entering India.About 1,000 Bangladeshis gathered at the zero point near Manikganj in South Berubari of Jalpaiguri near Dhardhara village on Wednesday afternoon. They are trying to enter India after crossing the zero point. However, the BSF has taken strict measures to prevent illegal immigration. Additional security has been put in place at the border. Additional BSF personnel have been deployed in the area. During the 1972 Bangladesh Liberation Struggle, many people from Bangladesh entered India for fear of their lives. Most of them were Hindus.
