Recently, several reports in the media revealed how Tuliram had allocated crores of rupees in the name of his wife’s company and embezzled money. We published information on how Tuliram embezzled the entire money by showing how he completed a road allocated in the name of his wife’s company in just seven days. The road was constructed by Kache Construction Pvt Ltd at a cost of Rs 30 crore. The company is owned by Tuliram’s wife. Surprisingly, the Rs 30 crore work was allocated on 22-12-2020 and Tuliram’s wife’s company received a completion certificate on 29-12-2020 showing that it completed the road construction within just 7 days.After massive reactions the work allocation and completion certificates for the road were revised to show that the work was completed in about one month. Tuliram is now defending himself by saying that the facts in question are very old, dating back to 2020. However, many have argued that Tuliram has not realized that the truth cannot be covered up even if the information is old. The government had allocated crores of rupees for the development of Diphu city. Where and how the money was spent is another matter of discussion but we have information that Tuliram deposited crores of rupees in his wife’s . According to recent information, Tuliram had allocated work worth about Rs 8 crore to his wife’s company for the repair of the roads and others. On May 11, 2022, Tuliram’s wife’s company was allocated three jobs. PWD, Diphu Road Division directed the contractor/firm to pay Rs. 8,01,66,203.00 Rs. The contractor firm was Kache Construction Pvt Ltd .

The amount allocated for the three works was Rs. 1,00,40,660.00, Rs. 5,00,75,960.00 and Rs 2,00,49,583.00 . Tuliram’s wife’s company paid a total of Rs 8,01,66,20,3.00 for the work. But the question is whether Tuliram did not make good use of the hundreds of crores of rupees that came for the development of Diphu. As a result, repairs were required after the development work was done. According to sources, Tuliram had taken out money in the name of his wife’s company by any means. According to sources, instead of calling open tenders for the works, Tuliram tried to keep all the works with his family by pocket tenders. Instead of inviting tenders for works in various newspapers, Tuliram gave huge amounts of work to his wife through pocket tenders. The sources said that Tuliram’s family-oriented activities have naturally upset Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma. Therefore, an alternative leader to Tuliram is now being sought from Dispur, the source said. The source said the Chief Minister believes that Tuliram’s actions will severely damage the BJP in Karbi land in the 2026 elections. Therefore, the Chief Minister avoided Tuliram as much as possible, the source said.
