‘India is not neutral, it is for peace’, Modi advises Zelenskiy to discuss with Putin to end the war
New Delhi: Two and a half years have passed, but the Russia-Ukraine war has not stopped. Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on a historic visit to Ukraine amid the roar of cannons. Arriving in Kiev, he met with the President of that country, Volodymyr Zelensky. India is not neutral but for peace. And to restore this peace, Modi has given Zelensky a ‘diplomatic’ suggestion to sit in talks with Putin. Delhi will give all possible help if the two countries meet. Namo said he respects the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
Modi visited Russia this year. He hugged President Vladimir Putin. About which Zelensky fired at Namo. But he is impressed by Modi-Magi on this visit. Modi is his hope to forget the bitterness of the past and stop the war. Namo went through all the scars of the war with the President of Ukraine on Friday. Tributes at the memorials express pain for the sacrifice of innocent children in war. After that, the two state leaders sat in the meeting. According to Reuters, about India’s position in the talks, Modi said, “We are not neutral. From the beginning we have one side. We are always for peace. We are from the land of Buddha. Where war has no place. Our country is the country of Mahatma Gandhi. Who gave the message of peace to the whole world.”
