New Delhi: Finally relief after 5 months of imprisonment. BRS leader K Kavita got bail on Tuesday on the orders of the Supreme Court. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia got bail on the order of the Supreme Court this month. This time K Kavita’s bail after ED and CBI tangle is a bit of hope for Arvind Kejriwal.

Former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter was arrested by the ED in March in the Delhi Excise case. A month later he was arrested for the second time by the CBI. Kavitha, who was imprisoned in double lock, repeatedly applied for bail but was disappointed. The hearing of his bail case was again on Tuesday in the division bench of the Supreme Court. There, the court asked the ED and CBI what information is there to prove that poetry is involved in the excise case? The Solicitor General said that he tried to destroy the evidence by formatting his phone. However, Kavita’s lawyer Mukul Rohatgi refuted the government’s claim and said that anyone can change their phone. The allegation against K Kavita of destroying data on her mobile phone is baseless. Unnecessary fuss is being made about this.

After hearing the arguments of both parties, the apex court said that the evidence collected in the case so far does not seem to warrant the custody of Kavita. Meanwhile, Mukul Rohatgi pleaded for bail and said that a woman can be granted bail. She is a responsible woman of the country. He will prove himself innocent of the charges leveled against him. He is a former MP. As a result, there is no possibility of him escaping. After this Supreme Court granted bail to Kavita.
