New Delhi: Political circles are uproar over the death of the young doctor of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. There is a strong conflict between the ruling party and the opposition. In the meantime, Trinamool MP Mahua Maitra shouted for justice instead of ‘us-them’ in this incident.
On the X handle, he writes, “This is not gang rape. No injury marks. There was no haste in cremation. The autopsy was videographed. One person was arrested within 12 hours for his alleged involvement in the incident. CBI has taken over the investigation. We are all bloodied by the brutal torture of a 31-year-old young woman. So there is no us-them here. We all want speedy justice.”
