Financial corruption of RG Kar Hospital: Critically ill Debashis Som admitted to ICU soon after CBI appearance

Former Superintendent Akhtar Ali filed a case in Calcutta High Court alleging financial corruption of RG Kar Hospital. Debashis Som, the hospital’s forensic demonstrator, was named in that case. The CBI was interrogating that source.

According to family sources, Debashisbabu’s blood sugar level suddenly dropped on Saturday night. The situation became so bad that he had to be rushed to a hospital near the bypass. Sandeep Ghosh, the ‘closest’ doctor, is being kept in the ICU.
Incidentally, former principal Sandeep Ghosh has been in the spotlight ever since the rape and murder of a doctor at RG Kar Hospital. Accusations against him are abundant. Former Superintendent Akhtar Ali has already filed a case in the Calcutta High Court on allegations of financial corruption against him. Debashis Som, the hospital’s forensic demonstrator, was named in that case. Akhtar Ali has no end of complaints against him. He claimed that being ‘close’ to Sandeep, Debashis was equally involved in the financial corruption case. CBI officials searched his house in Kestpur for almost 8 hours last Sunday. After that, at around 4 pm, Sastrike Debashis reached the Nizam Palace in his own car with the documents. He was interrogated there for about four hours. After that, Debashis again reached Nizam Palace around 10 am on Monday. Meanwhile, he fell seriously ill.
