Accused of gang-rape free on bail, 2 BJP leaders are welcomed with flower garlands in Varanasi !

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is asking for quick and severe punishment in the case of gang rape. On the other hand, two BJP leaders accused of gang-raping a girl in Modi’s Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi were released on bail. Not only that, as soon as they came out of jail after 7 months of arrest, they were welcomed with flowers and garlands.

Last year, several members of BJP’s IT cell were accused of gang-raping a student of IIT-BHU in Varanasi. Several pictures of these members have gone viral on social media. The three accused of rape are Kunal Pandey, Abhishek Chauhan and Samap Patel. After the incident, far from taking action against the accused, they were sent to Madhya Pradesh for election campaign. However, under heavy pressure, the police were forced to arrest them.
Meanwhile, the opposition camp has moved on the incident of such royal reception of the rape accused. Narendra Modi, Yogi Adityanath have been accused of double standards on the issue of women’s safety and dignity. In this incident, Congress leader Ajay Rai said, “In another case, the Yogi government bulldozed the house of the accused. But in this case, the BJP has welcomed the rapists with flowers and garlands.
