Murder at RG Kar Hospital:Accused Sanjay Roy tried to mislead the CBI in the polygraph

Kolkata: Sanjay Roy, the prime accused in the rape and murder of a young doctor at RG Kar Hospital, reportedly tried to mislead the CBI even during the polygraph test. CBI sources said there were many inconsistencies in his statement during interrogation. However, he was shocked to hear the name of Assistant Sub-Inspector Anup Dutta, Sanjay’s close friend and mentor of the Kolkata police. When asked about his relationship with former RG Kar Hospital principal Sandeep Ghosh, Sanjay claimed to the CBI that he did not know him He saw Sandeep Ghosh from a distance only on Doctor’s Day. However, the CBI claimed that many of his statements were not credible.

The CBI has conducted a polygraph test on the accused while he is in judicial custody. The CBI claims that Sanjay Roy is still trying to mislead CBI officials in various ways. He is trying to convince the officers that he was forced to say many things because the police threatened him. But he knows nothing about the murder and rape of the young doctor. He has been falsely accused. Sanjay even claimed to the CBI that the CBI did not go looking for him. He was summoned by the police to the RG Kar outpost. According to CBI sources, Sanjay Roy’s polygraph test was conducted in a special room inside the Presidency Jail.
