Guwahati: Mission Basundhara 1 and 2, aimed at easy and corruption-free land reforms in Assam, have received widespread popularity and response. The CM has announced the launch of Mission Basundhara 3 in the state. Mission Basundhara 3 has no deadline this year. Mission Basundhara 3 will continue till the last application. According to the Chief Minister, 8 lakh people have benefited from Mission Basundhara-1. More than 200,000 people have benefited from Mission Vasundhara 2, he said. The Chief Minister said the indigenous people have benefited a lot from this. Mission Basundhara 3 does not require three generation certificates for tea community and Gorkha community. Many applications rejected in Mission Basundhara 2 will be re-examined this time. He said that the work would be done immediately. Additional land allocation for colleges and universities will also be done .
