Guwahati:Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is also the BJP’s co-incharge for the upcoming Jharkhand state elections, has claimed that Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders have already conceded defeat ahead of the polls. Sarma pointed to the nervous tone and language used by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and other Congress-JMM leaders during their campaign rallies, suggesting that they lack confidence in securing a victory.”The statements made by the Chief Minister and other Congress-JMM leaders at their rallies clearly show they are anxious. They’ve implicitly acknowledged that they won’t win,” Sarma said, adding that the BJP has no concerns regarding the election process. He further emphasized that the Election Commission, as well as both the state and central governments, are playing a fair and effective role in ensuring a smooth election process.Sarma’s comments came as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled for another visit to Jharkhand on November 10, following his participation in two successful rallies in Chaibasa and Garhwa earlier in the week.
