New Delhi: As Parliament prepares for its winter session, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has urged the government to focus on the pressing issues affecting the nation, stressing the importance of not avoiding critical topics. Speaking before a key meeting of the INDIA alliance at Mallikarjun Kharge’s office, Gogoi emphasized that the opposition would finalize its approach during the meeting, but he expressed a strong plea for the government to address the ongoing crises.
Gogoi highlighted several urgent concerns, including the Adani issue, the ongoing unrest in Manipur, the plight of farmers, and the challenges faced by scheduled castes. He pointed out that Parliament’s purpose goes beyond the passage of bills and should include serious deliberations on national issues that have a direct impact on the citizens of India.
