Guwahati: As the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) marks four years of governance, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the region for embodying the “best of Assam’s growth story.” Reflecting on the BTR’s transformation, the CM expressed gratitude to the people for their unwavering support and trust in the government’s initiatives.On his official X account, CM Sarma remarked, “The Bodoland Territorial Region, once plagued by unrest and violence, is now a beacon of peace and a symbol of prosperity.” He further highlighted the region’s strides in attracting strategic investments, hosting sporting events, organizing cultural festivals, securing GI tags for heritage items, and fostering stronger community connections.Acknowledging the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, Sarma credited their guidance and blessings for the region’s recent progress. He also lauded the Triple Engine Government, referring to the collaboration between New Delhi, Dispur, and Kokrajhar, for guiding the BTR to new heights of success and helping its people achieve peace and progress.
