Additionally, he will take on the role of Joint Commissioner of Police in the Guwahati Police Commissionerate. Jain’s appointment marks an important transition from his previous position as the Commandant of the 10th Assam Police Battalion in Kahilipara, where his leadership earned considerable recognition.Further enhancing the state’s law enforcement structure, Munna Prasad Gupta, who formerly served as the Additional Director General of Police (CID) at Ulubari, has been promoted to the position of Special Director General of Police (CID), Assam.
