Gangtok :A fatal accident in Sikkim’s Tingring-Gerethang area, part of the Yuksam-Tashiding constituency, claimed the lives of five individuals on January 17. The incident occurred early in the morning when an Alto vehicle reportedly veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge, resulting in multiple casualties.Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and additional information is expected as the story unfolds.This tragic event follows a similar incident last month in Sikkim’s Pakyong District. On December 28, a car carrying a family from Kolkata fell approximately 400 meters down a steep slope on the Lamaten-Lungchok road, killing a mother and her two-year-old daughter.
