A head-collision accident at Sipajhar in Assam’s Darrang district left at least five people with severe injuries this morning.
The injuries, according to sources, were caused by a head-on collision between an ambulance and an approaching tanker truck in the Bordouguri area.
However, no fatalities had been reported.
The injured were taken immediately after the event to a nearby hospital for treatment.
It has been discovered that the ambulance was travelling from Guwahati to Mangaldai when the incident occurred.
