Assam: Elephant safaris at Kaziranga National Park will begin tomorrow

The famous Kaziranga National Park (KNP) in Assam will begin its elephant safari on November 2.

Tourists will be able to enjoy an elephant safari in Assam’s national park’s western, Bagori, Kaziranga, and Kohora ranges.

For the 2022–2023 season, the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR), famous for its one-horned rhinoceros, was opened to visitors on October 2.

The Kaziranga National Park was opened to visitors on September 22 by Sadhguru Vasudev and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Over 2400 one-horned rhinos, or roughly one-third of the world’s entire population, are found there.

Elephants, wild water buffalo, and swamp deer all have sizable breeding populations in Assam’s Kaziranga national park.

Kaziranga National Park in Assam has great species variety and visibility and is situated on the periphery of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hotspot.
