Guwahati: Addl Director General Border Roads of Eastern Projects Shri PKH Singh, VSM concluded his three days 20 , 21 & 22 November ) visit to Arunachal Pradesh, today.
During the visit, he reviewed progress on all important strategic roads in Lohit and Longding districts. He inspected the bridging works at Meshai over Lohit River connecting the Eastern Bank areas of Lohit Valley to the mainlands. He also inspected the bridging works over Tissa River on Pongchau-Kunsa Road. He interacted with the locals and informed them of the Government’s vision and efforts for construction of roads to establish connection to the mainland. BRO’s Project Udayak is working towards development of communication in these areas under difficult & inhospitable weather and terrain conditions.
