New Delhi :Tanmay Sahu could not be saved. An eight-year-old boy died in a deep well in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul. After 65 hours, Tanmay was taken out of the well. Tanmay died when his body was exhumed from the 55-feet deep well, the administration said. Tanmay’s body has been taken to Betul district hospital.Tanmay’s parents have pointed fingers at the administration for his death.
Tanmay’s mother Jyoti Sahu broke down in tears and said, “Give me back my son. Would it have taken so long to rescue even if he was the son of a leader or an officer? Even after a long time, they are not saying anything. He doesn’t even let me see his body. ’’His father Sunil Sahu said, “My daughter told me about the incident when she saw Tanmay falling into the well. We immediately rushed to the spot. The rescue operation began at 6 pm on December 6. My son could not be saved even after carrying out rescue operations for so long. ’
