Elections are near, Modi comes: Prime Minister’s plane lands in Barjhar in the morning

Guwahati:Several northeastern states are now reeling under the winds of elections. Modi has also appeared in Guwahati ahead of the elections, keeping in mind the tradition. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plane landed at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Barjhar this morning. From Guwahati, he will travel to several north-eastern states. The Prime Minister is visiting Nagaland with special focus on Tripura, Meghalaya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit two northeastern states on Sunday. He is all set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 6800 crore in Meghalaya and Tripura. Assembly elections in these two states will be held by March 2023. Nagaland will also go to polls in early 2023.
