New Delhi:Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has commented on the controversy over the song ‘Besharam Rang’ from the movie ‘Pathan’. Gautama Buddha also wore saffron vests. Therefore, calling this color ‘Besharam’ is an insult to Buddhism, said Atawal. He demanded that such words should be removed from the film’s songs immediately.

Ramdas was confronted by reporters in Pune. “We don’t have any problem with Pathan, only there is an objection to this song ‘Besharam Rang’. Saffron is not only the colour of the BJP or Shiv Sena, but this colour was also worn by Gautam Buddha. This color has been considered a symbol of peace since about two and a half thousand years ago. As a result, this song is also insulting to Buddhism. And that’s why if the word Besharam is not dropped from the song, our team will protest against the Pathan film. ”

He said that no color is good, so this word should be dropped immediately. It is to be noted that on December 12, ‘Besharam Rang’ from the movie ‘Pathan’ was released. Since then, the debate has begun. The song’s scene was shared and the film was called for a boycott. ‘Boycott Pathaan’ is trending on social media. The song has been accused of indecency. With the hashtag ‘Boycott Pathan’, it is written, “In the film ‘Pathan’, the totla has dressed the heroine in a saffron dress and has given the name of the song besharam color. Sharing this tweet, Sadhvi Prachi has again called for a boycott of the film all over India.
