Guwahati:The Sahitya Akademi Award for the year 2022 has finally been announced. The Sahitya Akademi Award has been presented to noted litterateur and journalist Manoj Kumar Goswami this year. Journalist Manoj Kumar Goswami has received the award for his collection of stories “Bhool Satya”. In 2017, “Bhool Satya”. was published. The book was published by Bookbel Publishing. Manoj Kumar Goswami had earlier received the ‘Katha Puraskar’.
Sahitya Akademi’s translation award has also been announced. The award was received by Dr. Juri Dutta, Professor, Tezpur University.
Among others who have received the award from Assam another is Rashmi Chowdhury (book of Bodo poetry).
