New Delhi:Priyanka Gandhi’s husband Robert Vadra’s discomfort increased. He had moved the Rajasthan High Court seeking quashing of the ongoing land deal fraud case against him. The Central Investigation Agency (ED) is investigating the matter. The court, however, said the ED will not be able to interrogate him in custody for another 15 days.
The case pertains to the purchase of 275 bighas of land in Kolai in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district. A criminal case was filed in 2016 accusing Robert’s company Skylight Hospitality. The case was registered on the basis of an FIR lodged by the state police following a complaint by the local tahsildar. Robert and his mother Maureen Vadra were asked to appear before the court on January 21, 2019.
