Washington:The whole of America is devastated by the terrible snowstorm. So far 22 people have died in this natural disaster. About 15 lakh families are living without electricity. In some places, the temperature has dropped below 45 degrees Celsius. There has been so much snow somewhere that the roads and houses have gone under 10 feet of snow.
Heavy snowfall and gusty winds disrupted air services across the United States. FlightAware claimed that 5,934 flights were cancelled on Friday. On Friday, 2,700 flights were cancelled. According to the Meteorological Department, the snowstorm has been wreaking havoc for 3,200 kilometers from Texas in the United States to Quebec, Canada. As a result, 1.5 million people in america have been without electricity since yesterday. Meteorologists have named the cyclone ‘Bomb Cyclone’ as it is as deadly as a bomb blast.
