Coronavirus found in the bodies of four foreigners in Bihar’s Bodh Gaya, sent to isolation

New Delhi:Four foreign tourists in Bihar’s Bodh Gaya have tested positive for covid-19. All four have been sent to isolation. The Dalai Lama will be in Gaya from December 29. The four tourists came to India to attend the event. One of the victims is from Myanmar, one from Thailand and two from Britain. Thailand is one of the four countries from where it is mandatory to get tested for COVID-19 when they come to India. According to Dr Ranjan Singh, medical officer in charge of Gaya district, the physical condition of any Covid patient is not serious. However, authorities are taking all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the infection.

Meanwhile, a foreigner was brought to the hospital from Kolkata airport due to symptoms of coronavirus. For now, he has been kept in isolation at Beleghata ID. The passenger, who holds a British passport, came to Kolkata from Australia.
