Russia won’t sell oil to countries that accept prices set by Western countries

Moscow:G7, Australia and the European Union are buying oil from Russia at a fixed price that countries will no longer sell their oil. Western countries have set a maximum price of $ 60 per barrel. In this situation, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued this new decree.

The Russian decree makes it clear that countries have accepted the fixed prices, which will not sell their oil from February 1. The ban will remain in force till July 1. However, it has also been said that Russia can also exempt some countries in the case of this ban. The exemption could be based on Putin’s “special decision”.
