New Delhi:The court has ordered a total of 80 years of rigorous imprisonment to a young man for raping an 11-year-old girl. The incident took place in The Malappum area of Kerle. The court’s order came to light on Saturday.
The Pocso court in Manjari has declared the punishment of the arrested youth. The accused has been identified. He is a resident of Karle’s Kathakanchery village. Cases were registered under sections 449, 366, 376 (AB), 376(2) (N) and POCSO of the Indian Penal Code.
Apart from serving a sentence, K Rajesh has also directed the judge of the special POCSO court to pay a fine of Rs 3 lakh to the youth.
