Guwahati: with the aim of building a self-reliant Assam through the intellectual movement the Kamrup District Committee of Alokpravonjan Welfare Society formed at Abhaypur in North Guwahati.
Sankar Gohain, the Editor of ‘Dainandin Barta’ newspaper welcomes the gathering. In his speech Gohain said that even during the corona pandemic the Dainandi Barta’ group has reached out to the people with determination .He also admires the remarkable role of journalists who played a vital role in building a society covering various aspects .Sankar Gohain also explained the future course of action for the advancement of the group in detail.
It is noteworthy that ‘Dainandin Barta’ has reached the Thirteen years of dedicated service toward the society.At the event the ‘Dainandin Barta Sports Pride Award’ has given to eminent sports personality Rajkumar Das.Rajkumar Das has gained lot of fame in sports field .
On the other hand the Kamrup District Committee of Aalokpravanjyan Welfare Society has formed comprising eminent journalist Kumud Nath ,Dilip Nath,Organizer Syed Mustafa Ahmed, Abul Hussain, Anamika Kalita(Assistant Secretary ),Apurba Deka, Dwipkanta Pathak(Cultural secretary) , Utpal Tamuli and Madhumadhav Das, Pankaj Deka, Jogen Barman, Lakshyadhar Shali, Arup Lahakkar and Rubli Ahmed .
The Meeting concluded by offering a bouquet of appreciation to the members and well-wishers present in the meeting.
