New Delhi:Joshimath town is gradually sinking underground. And maybe after a few days there will be no film in the city. Why has there been such a disaster in the city of Uttarakhand? According to recent reports, joshi is a tunnel dug up for a hydropower project responsible for the disaster.
The tunnel which started mining in 2009 touched the huge water bodies created by nature. As a result, thousands of gallons of water came out of that reservoir. As the reservoir gradually dries up, other sources of water also dry up and the entire area becomes hollow. Experts claim that due to the drying up of the huge reservoir, the soil in the area has dried up and become hollow.
