3 soldiers killed as car skidded off the road during patrolling in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara

New Delhi:Three soldiers were killed after falling into a ditch during a routine patrol. The incident took place on Wednesday near the Line of Control (LoC) in Machil sector of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to army sources, a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of Chinar Corps and two other jawans were patrolling the forward area of Machil sector on Wednesday morning. They were patrolling in the car. That’s when the accident happened. The vehicle of the jawans skidded and crashed into a deep ditch. Three soldiers were killed on the spot.
