A village in Nagaland that has a dual citizenship of India and Myanmar!

Guwahati : Lungwa (Longwa) is one of the largest villages in Mon district of Nagaland. This village is situated on the Indo-Myanmar international border. Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Alang recently shared a video of the unique village. The village has a road connecting Loji village in Sagaing division of Myanmar.

This is the route through which the residents of the village can go to the towns of Yangtzong, Tatmadaw etc. in Myanmar. One part of the village falls under Indian territory, while the other half is under Myanmar’s control. Many in the village have bedrooms in India but their kitchens and other houses are falling in Myanmar. In Longwa, the Daughter-in-Law is inhabited by the Soks of the Naga tribe.
