Kathmandu:A 72-seater passenger plane crashed on the runway of Nepal’s Pokhra International Airport in the early hours of Sunday. The Yati Airlines flight had a total of 68 passengers and four crew members on board. Yeti Airlines spokesperson Sudarsan Bartaula said the bodies of 16 passengers have been recovered so far.
A video of the accident site has surfaced on social media. It is learnt that the plane caught fire while taking off the runway and the entire plane caught fire inside the incident. Details are awaited.
